Backup & restore
From the app’s English Help & Guide · Reference release 1.0.13
Go to More > Data > Backup & Restore to back up or restore your Supported data.
• Automatic backups — writes a daily backup to iCloud Drive in the background or when you open the app. Supported keeps the last 7 backups. • Back up now — creates a .supportedbackup file you can save to Files, AirDrop, or another safe place. • Restore from backup — lets you choose a .supportedbackup file, preview what it contains, then replace the current data on this device.
Backups include your people, care log, wellbeing check-ins, observations, noticings, discussion notes, Between Us entries, hospital admissions, appointments, settings, and shared-profile cache details.
Backup files are readable archives, not encrypted by Supported. Store them somewhere secure. Anyone with access to the file may be able to read or restore it.
You can restore while iCloud Sync is on or off. Supported updates matching data in place so its iCloud record identity is kept, then stages your current data so it can roll back if the restore fails.
