How notifications work

From the app’s English Help & Guide · Reference release 1.0.13

Supported can alert you when something changes for the people you care for. Three kinds of alert are available, each toggleable per person:

• Flare day — when their tracker app reports a flare • Crash day — when they hit an energy wall • Low spoons — when their remaining energy drops below a threshold you set per person

Live-need alerts (when they tap a 'Needs quiet' or 'Needs water' button on their side) follow the same per-person rules. If at least one of the three toggles above is on for that person, their live needs reach you. If you've silenced the person entirely, live needs stay silent too.

A gentle morning briefing fires at 8am for anyone with an actionable signal — a likely tough day ahead, a flare or crash currently in progress, a rough week pattern. The briefing follows the same per-person gates: it only fires for people with at least one notification toggle on, and not for people you've archived or marked as no longer with us.
