More > Preferences gathers the choices that shape how Supported feels rather than what it does:
• Appearance — system, light, or dark. System follows your device setting. • Your name — first name appearing on PDFs, Between Us entries, and email sign-offs you generate. Optional. • Your role — partner, parent, friend, paid support worker, however you describe what you do (see 'About you' in Getting started).
This is separate from More > Data (backup, sync, export, delete all data), More > Notifications (alerts), and More > Support (Help & updates, What's New, demo, feedback, legal, and more apps). The split exists so the things you'll change once and forget aren't sat next to the things you'll come back to.
