Energy and spoons
From the app’s English Help & Guide · Reference release 1.0.13
If your person uses an energy-planning companion app, Supported shows you how much energy they have left today.
On the People dashboard card, you'll see a spoon count (e.g. 3/8 spoons). When it's low (2 or fewer), the chip turns red — a good time to reduce demands and handle tasks yourself.
On the Apple Watch, in the watch complication, and in the Past days history list, the same signal appears as a plain-English phrase instead: 'Feeling good', 'Doing okay', 'Taking it easy', 'Running low', 'At their limit', or 'Tough day'. 'Spoons' is in-group vocabulary from the chronic illness community, and not every carer uses it — the phrase gives you the same actionable signal without the jargon.
