How insights are calculated

From the app’s English Help & Guide · Reference release 1.0.12

Insights are a pure pattern-analysis layer over your logs — no statistical inference, no guessing. Each card counts what’s actually in your data and tells you what it sees.

Verdict progress

Counts your recorded challenges per protocol and projects a remaining timeline from your current pace.

Cross-protocol overlap

Flags foods that appear in your verdicts for more than one active protocol.

Retest patterns

Compares two or more challenges of the same food — stable, improving, or worsening.

Symptom and timing

Simple counts across your logs — most frequent symptom, typical reaction timing window.

Health correlation

Cross-references your reactions against Apple Health context captured at log time — sleep, HRV, and, if you enabled it, cycle phase. It surfaces the distributions plainly and descriptively; the goal is to spot a confounded test pattern, not to assign blame.
