What is Tolerated?
Tolerated is a privacy-first elimination diet protocol manager for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. It helps you run clinical elimination templates, log symptoms, scan ingredient labels, and (with Tolerated+) complete structured reintroduction challenges and track personal thresholds — without accounts or a Cocoacorn server.
Is Tolerated medical advice?
No. Tolerated is a personal protocol manager, not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. We strongly recommend working with a registered dietitian for any elimination diet that lasts more than a few weeks, or if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, planning changes for a child, or managing a diagnosed condition.
Is my data private?
Yes. We do not collect data. Tolerated has no user accounts, no analytics, and no third-party SDKs that collect data. Data stays on your device or in your personal iCloud if you enable sync.
What does Tolerated+ include?
Tolerated+ adds guided reintroduction challenges, personal thresholds, protocol stacking, the Insights hub, Meal Ideas, dietitian and CSV exports, full backup restore with optional iCloud Drive auto-backup, and optional on-device AI Enhancements for vague ingredient text. The free tier includes all protocols, elimination tracking, the scanner, Watch app, and Carer Sharing.
Can I use it without subscribing?
Yes. The free tier is designed to be a complete elimination tracker. Tolerated+ is for the “next phase” work — reintroduction, thresholds, insights, and professional-friendly exports — not for unlocking the core protocols themselves.
