What the sensory controls change

From the app’s English Help & Guide · Reference release 1.0

Motion

Still removes travelling or continuous movement where possible. Low keeps slow local movement. Standard allows the full gentle treatment, still without flashing or camera shake.

Brightness and contrast

Scene brightness limits glow and scene intensity, not device brightness. With System appearance, Dim also keeps menus dark. An explicit Light or Dark choice under More → Preferences takes priority. Contrast changes separation and outlines.

Sound and haptics

Each can be Off, Soft, or Standard. They are independent, including with Still motion. Some spaces are silent: their Controls explain this, and Spaces → With sound shows those with audio. You can preview an available sound in Controls.

Cognitive load

Minimal reduces optional density or the amount you need to manage where a space supports it.

Open Controls from a space to see which settings affect it. Changes apply across Quieted. Show quick guide brings back its first action; the guide stays until you dismiss it or begin playing.
