Backup & restore

Backup creates a .steadiedbackup file; Restore previews before applying.
Backups cover period and symptom logs, custom labels and symptoms, pain pins, treatment timelines and check-ins, context, birth-control profiles and check-ins, excluded-cycle decisions, condition anchors, wearable aggregates, report schedules, saved reports, and their PDFs.
When iCloud sync is on, Steadied turns on automatic backups for you and writes daily backups to iCloud Drive when due. Local data stays visible first; backup and iCloud work happens after the app has something current to show.
If Steadied says it cannot write to its iCloud Drive folder, open Settings > your Apple Account > iCloud > Drive. Make sure Sync this iPhone is on and Steadied is allowed to use iCloud Drive. If everything is on but backups still fail, turn Sync this iPhone off and back on, then reopen Steadied.
Restore can Merge into current data or Replace after wiping current data first.
Before restoring, turn off iCloud sync, then close and reopen Steadied. Restore locally and check the result before deciding whether to turn sync back on.
