Tap a record type to see what it tells you. This example does not change a challenge or food status.
- Record type
Day marked done
A completed day records that the day was marked done. Without an observation, the app does not know whether symptoms occurred. Completion is not a symptom-free result.
- Record type
Observation recorded
An observation records what you entered at a particular time. It can help you review the test, but the entry alone does not prove that a food caused a symptom.
- Record type
Verdict recorded
A verdict records your conclusion for that test. If missed information or other circumstances make the result unclear, an inconclusive result keeps that uncertainty visible. It is not an allergy-safety guarantee.
Log any symptom that stands out. The severity slider is calibrated: 3 = barely there, wouldn’t mention it; 5 = distracting but you can still get on with things; 7 = hard to ignore; 9 = had to stop and recover.
Log at the peak, not the start or end — peak severity is what you’ll want when comparing reactions later.
Mark today done
Marking a day done records completion only. It does not create a symptom-free entry. Log observations separately; leave missing information unknown. When recording a verdict, choose inconclusive if you cannot tell what happened.
Log a reaction during a test
Choose an existing active challenge and record your observation. This guide does not start a food test.
Three separate empty dishes and a blank observation card represent keeping test observations distinct. No portions or doses are suggested.
Log a reaction during a test: steps
- Choose the symptom Record the symptom you want to keep with this challenge. This form records an observation; it does not decide the food verdict.
- Add the details Use the normal severity and timing controls and add a note if useful. Record your experience rather than filling fields just to complete the guide.
- Save your observation Use Save. Successful saving finishes this guide. Marking a challenge day done and recording a final verdict remain separate actions.
