Stacking multiple protocols
From the app’s English Help & Guide · Reference release 1.0.12
Protocol stacking lets Tolerated compare foods across more than one active protocol. It is free and there is no app-imposed limit, but each additional protocol can narrow the combined food list.
Choose the combination deliberately
Tolerated does not recommend a protocol pairing from a diagnosis alone. Start from the guidance you are actually following and involve a registered dietitian when combining restrictive plans.
Keep the evidence readable
Starting one protocol first can make changes easier to interpret. If you add another, note when it began and avoid changing several other factors at the same time where practical.
Cross-protocol challenges
Once stacked, prefer running one challenge at a time across the whole stack. Tolerated warns you before starting a second one and surfaces any conflict with another active protocol — that’s a sign to pause one before testing the other, otherwise a reaction could come from either source. You can choose to proceed when the trade-off is acceptable.
Cross-protocol overlap
The Insights hub surfaces foods flagged on more than one of your active protocols, and the food detail view shows which other protocols a food matters on. Stacked users get noticeably more value out of Insights than single-protocol users.
