By using Documented, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Description of Service

Documented is a personal evidence journal for iPhone and iPad. It helps users record functional impact, organise their own examples around supported disability-benefits criteria, review variability, and create a structured report.

Not Legal, Medical, or Government Advice

Documented provides recording, organisation, educational context, and document-generation tools. It does not provide legal advice, medical advice, representation, diagnosis, a benefits decision, or a guarantee of any claim outcome.

Documented is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Department for Work and Pensions, HM Government, the Social Security Administration, or another benefits authority. Always check the current official rules and deadlines that apply to your claim.

Your Data

You own the records you create in Documented. Documented stores records locally, with optional sync and backup through your personal iCloud account. You can export, back up, restore, or delete data using controls under More > Data.

You are responsible for checking entries, dates, criterion selections, report contents, and imported summaries before relying on or sharing them, and for protecting exported reports, CSV files, backup archives, and any copies you share.

Criteria, Guidance, and Generated Reports

Benefits rules, official wording, assessment practice, and evidence requirements can change. Documented aims to maintain accurate source notes and summaries, but does not warrant that every item is complete, current, applicable to your circumstances, or sufficient for a claim.

A Claim Evidence Report organises information supplied by you and, where selected, limited summaries from compatible apps. It remains self-documented evidence. You must review the in-app preview before saving, printing, or sharing it.

In-App Purchase

Representative pricing (GBP)

Documented+ is a non-consumable lifetime unlock processed by Apple through the App Store. There is no Documented subscription and no recurring charge. Previous purchases can be restored from the Documented+ purchase screen.

Apple handles billing, refunds, purchase restoration, storefront pricing, taxes, and Family Sharing availability under the terms of your Apple Account and the App Store. A Documented+ purchase unlocks only Documented; it does not unlock premium features in another Cocoacorn app.

Apple sets prices in other currencies for your App Store region; those amounts may change when Apple updates price tiers.

Intellectual Property

Documented, its software, design, original guidance, and original content are owned by Cocoacorn or its licensors. Official government material remains subject to its applicable source terms. Your own entries, photos, and other material remain yours.

Limitation of Liability

Documented is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cocoacorn does not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular claim, and is not liable for a benefits decision or for loss arising solely from reliance on the app instead of checking records, official guidance, deadlines, or professional advice.

Termination

You may stop using Documented at any time. Before deleting the app, export or back up any records you want to keep. Deleting the app may remove local data but does not necessarily delete copies held in iCloud, Files, another service, or by a person to whom you sent them.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights and jurisdiction protections that apply where you live.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms when the service or legal requirements change. Continued use after an updated version takes effect means the updated terms apply, subject to applicable law.
