Check-ins

From the app’s English Help & Guide · Reference release 1.0.23

Overview

Tap “Check in” on Today whenever you want to record how you feel now. Choose from Much worse to Much better, add optional symptom tags or a note, then save. You can check in more than once; each entry stays in Today’s timeline. To remove one, use the delete button beside it under Earlier today and confirm. To remove every saved check-in, use More › Data › Check-in data.

A check-in does not complete, reorder, reschedule, or change the cost of any activity. If you open Energy adjustment and deliberately change it, only the day’s remaining spoon budget changes. Deleting that check-in restores the most recent earlier explicit adjustment. Review Today remains the separate end-of-day record and check-in symptoms are never silently copied into it.

Structured saved check-ins contribute automatically to private on-device patterns once there are enough useful days. Free-text notes are never analysed. Optional coarse movement context is in More › Preferences › Health, private note inclusion is chosen separately when creating a report or export, and reminders remain in More › Preferences › Notifications.
