Agreement

By using Metered, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Description of Service

Metered is a forward-looking energy budget planner for people with chronic illness. It provides daily energy budgeting, activity planning, crash prediction, day review, and Apple Watch integration. It is available on iPhone, iPad, Mac (Catalyst), Apple Watch, and Apple Vision Pro.

Not Medical Advice

Metered is an energy planning tool, not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions.

Crash predictions, budget adjustments, and activity cost suggestions are based on your self-reported data and general heuristics. They are not clinically validated and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice. Metered is a guide, not a prescription.

Your Data

You own your data. Metered stores your plans and outcomes locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account. We do not access, collect, or process your data.

You can delete all data at any time in Settings.

Apple Health Data

Metered accesses Apple Health data only with your explicit permission. Health data is used solely to personalise your daily energy budget. Metered does not write to Apple Health. You can revoke Health access at any time in the Health app or device Settings.

In-App Purchases

Pricing

Metered+ is optional premium functionality unlocked with a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple through the App Store. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). Apple sets prices in other currencies for your App Store region; those amounts may change when Apple updates price tiers.

Intellectual Property

Metered, its design, and its content are owned by Cocoacorn. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the app.

Limitation of Liability

Metered is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cocoacorn shall not be liable for any damages arising from use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data or decisions made based on crash predictions or budget suggestions.

We strongly recommend not relying solely on Metered for health decisions. Always consult your healthcare provider.

Termination

We may discontinue Metered at any time. If we do, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
