Health integration
From the app’s English Help & Guide · Reference release 1.0.21
Where to find it
Health Integration lives in More › Preferences › Health. Turn on the master switch, then choose which Apple Health data types Metered may read.
What it reads
• Heart signals: HRV, resting heart rate, and heart rate. • Recovery context: sleep, respiratory rate, blood oxygen, active energy, and steps. • POTS context: hydration when you enable POTS features.
These readings can support Morning Signal, the health strip, pacing alerts, and budget context.
Privacy and permissions
Raw Apple Health data is read-only, stays in HealthKit, and is never written back by Metered. Metered may save derived app records, such as Morning Signal history or budget context, so charts and reports can work; those Metered records sync only if you enable iCloud sync. Apple Health does not tell Metered whether read access to a particular data type was granted or denied. The Health Integration switch is your app preference, not proof that all readings are accessible. Missing readings may mean there is no recorded data or access is unavailable; they are not zero readings. Manual planning remains available.
