SSA Blue Book criteria

The SSA Blue Book sets out medical criteria by body system, including 11.02 epilepsy, 14.02 lupus and 8.09 chronic conditions of the skin or mucous membranes. Meeting or medically equalling a listing can satisfy the medical disability criteria when the duration requirement is met. Other eligibility requirements still apply; the SSA decides the claim.
