Between us

From the app’s English Help & Guide · Reference release 1.0.12

Between us is a private two-way journal you and your carer keep together. You leave a short entry — how today felt, a thank-you, something you couldn’t say out loud — they see it in their Supported app, and they can write back. It’s the soft layer underneath the data.

Where it lives

More › Sharing / Self-care › Between us — appears once Carer connection is enabled. It’s hidden when sharing is off, because there’s no one to write to.

How it differs from sharing

Your symptom logs, food history, scans, and verdicts stay private even with carer sharing on. Between us is the opposite — explicitly chosen, mutual, written. Two channels with two different purposes.

Where entries go

Entries use the same private CloudKit share as your other carer data. Apple encrypts CloudKit traffic and stored data, and Cocoacorn has no server or account that can read the share. The invited carer can read Between us entries in Supported.
