Quick Needs

Quick Needs are short preset messages your carer sees after the shared CloudKit zone syncs — “Bathroom near please”, “Need to lie down”, or “Bland food today”. They reduce the effort needed to explain during a flare.
Suggested set
On first setup Tolerated suggests a starter set based on the conditions you logged — IBS gets bathroom and bland-food needs, MCAS gets antihistamine and ventilation reminders, fatigue conditions get rest needs. You can keep, delete, or rename any of them.
Adding your own
More › Sharing / Self-care › Quick Needs › Add. Each need has a label, an optional description, and a category used to choose a matching symbol.
Carer name
The same screen has a Carer name field so the broadcast surface reads “Tell Harry: Bathroom near” instead of “Tell your carer”. Clearing it falls back to the generic copy.
