Notifications & reminders

From the app’s English Help & Guide · Reference release 1.0.5

Accommodated uses local iOS notifications for optional request follow-ups and saved formal-deadline prompts. Cocoacorn does not operate a push-notification server.

Permission

You choose whether to allow notifications. More › Preferences › Notifications shows the current permission and how many Accommodated reminders are pending.

Follow-up reminders

After you mark a request as sent, you can set a reminder for 14 days later. This is a practical prompt to check for a response, not a legal deadline.

Formal deadline prompts

For supported UK and US requests, choosing a refusal date can produce an estimated check date. If you explicitly set reminders, the app schedules eligible alerts 30, 7, and 1 day before that date.

Manage or cancel

Nothing is scheduled automatically. Cancel reminders from the request or from Notifications settings. Turning notification permission off in iOS prevents delivery but does not make a saved legal date authoritative.
