Default stance
Metered has no Cocoacorn account, no analytics SDK, no advertising tracker, and no Cocoacorn server holding your Metered diary.
Where data lives
Your Metered data stays on your device and, if you enable sync, in your personal iCloud account. Raw Apple Health readings stay in HealthKit; Metered may save derived records needed for features such as Morning Signal history, reports, and budget context.
What only shares by choice
Activities, symptoms, sensitivities, notes, health-derived records, and insights are not shared unless you export or report them, set up carer sharing, or enable the separate Connected Apps energy summary. Carer sharing and Connected Apps each disclose only the fields described in their own help topic.
