Apple Watch app
From the app’s English Help & Guide · Reference release 1.0.27
The Tended Apple Watch app lets you log entries directly from your wrist — no phone needed.
Quick rate
Rate your day with a single tap using the quick rate widget. Your rating syncs to your iPhone automatically.
Full entries
The Log screen follows the same order as a journal entry on iPhone. Quick check-in keeps day rating, energy, sleep, bowel type, and mood together at the top. Your check-in then shows enabled items in iPhone order: period day, note, symptoms, triggers, food and drink, medications, activities, relief methods, Crash / PEM, and supported custom fields. Longer lists open focused searchable checklists. Tended sends entries immediately when possible and also publishes an unacknowledged-entry snapshot plus a durable background transfer. The Watch retries until the iPhone acknowledges the entry.
Recent from Watch
The Recent from Watch section shows the five latest entries created on this Watch. Open one to check everything that was recorded, then tap Edit entry to change it using the same Watch editor. The updated entry is sent back to your iPhone without creating a duplicate. Synced Watch entries are kept here for 14 days; entries still waiting to sync stay until they reach your iPhone. Entries created on your iPhone stay in the iPhone journal and are not copied into this Watch history.
Pending medications
Your iPhone sends medication schedules and pending doses to the Watch even before you have journal history. If a medication is due, the Watch app and medication complication can show it without needing you to mark a previous dose as taken first.
Mood choices
The Watch mood picker mirrors the active moods from your iPhone in More › Tracking › Moods. Hidden moods stay hidden, and custom moods appear on Watch after the phone syncs.
Your tracking lists
Symptoms, moods, medications, triggers, food and drink, activities, relief methods, and supported custom fields come from your iPhone. Changes appear after the iPhone and Watch connect.
Complications & widgets
Add Tended complications to your watch face for quick access to logging, your latest entry, an affirmation, or your days-since-flare count.
Tell my carer
If you’ve set up Share with Carer, the Watch app includes a Quick Needs picker so you can send a single-tap signal (“I need quiet,” “I need water,” “I need help”) without your phone. The list mirrors what you’ve configured on iPhone.
Siri shortcuts
Use Siri to open the editor, rate your day, log a flare, or tell your carer what you need.
