Day ratings explained

From the app’s English Help & Guide · Reference release 1.0.27

Your day rating is one of the main signals Tended uses in comparisons. It is a simple 1-5 scale for recording how your day went overall.

What the ratings mean

Use the scale relative to your own experience. Tended groups 1-2 as lower-rated days and 4-5 as higher-rated days for comparisons; 3 sits between those groups. These are analysis categories, not universal definitions. With Tended+, you can customise the labels in the More tab.

Why rating groups matter

Correlations, patterns, and reports compare the lower-rated and higher-rated groups to find repeated differences in what you logged. They are personal observations, not medical conclusions or proof of cause and effect.

Rating consistently

Try to rate the overall impact of your condition relative to your own usual experience. A physically difficult day can still include good moments, and an easier physical day can still feel emotionally difficult. Consistent rating makes comparisons easier to interpret, but does not establish cause and effect.
