Understanding your Insights
From the app’s English Help & Guide · Reference release 1.0.27
The Insights hub is your home for understanding your data. Tracking Breakdown lets you browse everything you’ve logged, and Your Week compares a recent snapshot with previous periods. The remaining cards are grouped by purpose: Patterns and comparisons covers factors that may occur together, Trends over time covers changes in symptoms and measures, and Reports and records contains summaries you can review or share. Some subjects appear in more than one place when they support more than one task.
Today’s Insight
The card at the top highlights the single most important thing right now — whether you’re in a flare, a new finding has reached high confidence, a symptom is trending up, or a positive change in your activities. Tap it to go deeper.
Quick stats
Below the insight, you’ll see your average day rating, entry count, lower-rated days, and logging consistency. These update as your data grows.
Free and premium
Your journal and records remain free. In Insights, free users see a useful one-month result first: trends, averages, counts, timelines, or the first comparison where one is available. A blurred “Unlock with Tended+” continuation marks deeper comparisons, correlations, interpretations, and longer history. Premium tools such as Trigger Experiments, Doctor Mode, and Explain My Condition stay locked at the card and open the purchase screen directly.
Existing-user transition
If Insights shows a transition date, deeper comparisons remain available to you until that date. To keep journaling and useful basic Insights free, deeper comparisons and longer history are now included with Tended+. Because you used Insights before this change, your deeper access continues until the date shown. You can dismiss the notice after reading it and find the date again in More, then Tended+. Your separate seven-day trial is not used. There is no countdown or automatic purchase. Direct premium tools remain locked unless Tended+ or your trial is active.
Worth discussing with your doctor
When correlations reach high confidence, a card appears at the top of the “What affects you” view listing the findings most worth raising at your next appointment. You can dismiss it after you’ve noted them — it only comes back when new high-confidence findings emerge.
Focused medication insights
The “What affects you” and symptom correlation chart views include a medication filter when medication tracking is enabled. Focused leaves stable long-term medications out so PRN, skipped, tapering, or strong signals stand out. All meds restores baseline medications to their original position for a complete review. Flow views keep medication signals focused and use their own domain filters.
What this means
Some insight views have a What this means button near the top. Tap it for a plain-English summary of the information currently visible to you. If AI enhancements are enabled, that same summary can be rewritten in a warmer tone. This is separate from the premium Explain My Condition tool.
