Tracking breakdown
From the app’s English Help & Guide · Reference release 1.0.27
What is the tracking breakdown?
A browsable inventory of everything you track — organised into two groups: “What you logged” (triggers, food, medications, activities, relief methods, weather, period, mood labels, and custom fields) and “What happened” (symptoms, body regions, pain types, energy, sleep, bowel, reactions, PEM/crash). Each item shows how many times it appeared in the selected period.
Factors vs outcomes
Factors are things that might affect your health or explain a day — what you ate, what triggered a flare, what medication you took, what relief method you used, or what activity you managed. Outcomes are what happened to your body — symptoms, pain, energy levels, bowel changes, reactions, or PEM/crash. The breakdown lets you explore both directions: “When I logged Caffeine, what happened?” and “When I had Fatigue, what was going on?”
Tapping an item
Tap any item to see a detailed analysis: a summary paragraph, frequency charts, day-of-week patterns, calendar heatmap, impact on your day rating, co-occurring factors or symptoms, and more. This is different from Correlations — the breakdown shows what tends to happen together, while Correlations shows what is statistically significant.
Period picker
Use the picker at the top to change the time window. Free users see 1 month of data. Tended+ users can view 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, or all time. The detail view has its own period picker so you can explore different ranges after tapping an item.
Historical data
The breakdown shows all data that exists, even for tracking categories you’ve since turned off. If you tracked bowel health for 3 months and then disabled it, your historical bowel data still appears here.
