How Tolerated works

From the app’s English Help & Guide · Reference release 1.0.12

Pick a protocol

Choose the protocol that matches the guidance you are following. Setup shows what each protocol is commonly used for and when it may not fit. If you have a diagnosis or the diet is highly restrictive, confirm the choice with a registered dietitian or doctor.

Elimination or baseline

Follow the duration shown for your protocol and track how the baseline develops. Durations vary substantially; Acid Reflux / GORD is a trigger overlay and does not use a timed elimination phase.

Reintroduction

Where a protocol supports guided challenges, you test one food, group, or stage at a time. The dose and rest schedule is protocol-specific. Record symptoms and a verdict based on that particular test; personal thresholds can capture amounts rather than reducing everything to yes or no.

Maintenance

Your food list keeps the results you recorded. Use it as a personal reference, continue to follow any clinical restrictions, and retest only when it is appropriate for your situation.
