What is an elimination diet?

From the app’s English Help & Guide · Reference release 1.0.12

An elimination diet temporarily removes selected foods, then reintroduces them systematically to explore whether they relate to your symptoms. It can provide useful personal evidence, but it does not diagnose an allergy, intolerance, or medical condition.

Tolerated supports three stages where the selected protocol uses them: elimination to establish a baseline, reintroduction to test foods or groups, and maintenance to keep a practical record of what you learned.
