Importing from Tended

From the app’s English Help & Guide · Reference release 1.0.12

If you also use Tended (our chronic-illness journal), Tolerated can copy the foods and allergies you’ve recorded there into a starting food list.

How it works

Tended writes a read-only summary to the shared app group. When you confirm Copy from Tended, Tolerated reads that summary and creates its own food statuses and exclusions. Tended’s records are never changed.

What gets copied

Foods you’ve marked as causing a reaction in Tended map to “Not tolerated” in your food statuses. Declared allergies become Food exclusions as well as retaining that legacy status, so they cannot reappear in suggestions or challenge choices. Tolerated never infers tolerance from the absence of a reaction — verdicts stay earned through reintroduction challenges.

Where to find it

A banner appears at the top of Today the first time a Tended summary is available. If you dismiss it, choose Copy from Tended in More › Data or More › Preferences › Connected apps. After the first copy, Tolerated checks once a day for newer records when you open the app.
