Switching phones

From the app’s English Help & Guide · Reference release 1.0.12

If iCloud Sync was enabled on the old phone, sign into the new phone with the same Apple Account, enable iCloud Sync in Tolerated, and restart when prompted. CloudKit then begins reconciling the private store; timing depends on network, account state, and the amount of data.

If you don’t use iCloud Sync, take a backup on the old phone in More › Data › Backup & Restore › Back Up Now. Transfer the .toleratedbackup file, then choose Restore from Backup from the same Data path on the new phone.

Turning iCloud Sync on

More › Data › iCloud Sync. Turn it on, then restart Tolerated so SwiftData can reopen with CloudKit enabled. If existing records arrive from iCloud, Tolerated lets CloudKit merge them, hides transient duplicate protocol and food rows while syncing settles, and tidies matching duplicates in the background.

While your data appears

Today stays usable while iCloud Sync checks for existing records. You can choose a protocol immediately; the iCloud note remains visible while an empty store may still be receiving data. Existing data may take time to appear.
