Appointments

Track your healthcare appointments in one place. Add details, prepare what to discuss, generate reports, and record what happened afterwards.
Creating an appointment
Go to More › Reports / Appointments › Manage Appointments and tap +. Add the date, provider name, specialty, and location. You can also set a reminder to be notified before the appointment.
Specialties
Choose from 16 specialties: GP, Nurse, Carer, Rheumatologist, Neurologist, Gastroenterologist, Dermatologist, Cardiologist, Endocrinologist, Psychiatrist, Psychologist, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Dietitian, Surgeon, or Other. Each has its own icon.
Before your appointment
The appointment detail screen shows a “Before your appointment” card with helpful context: your typical day rating for that weekday, and any active flare or recovery status. Journal also shows the next upcoming appointment based on your appointment display setting, which defaults to 14 days ahead.
Appointments in Journal
Appointments appear on the day they happened, alongside the journal entry for that day. In day-by-day view they sit inside the day record; in timeline view they appear as compact appointment cards for that date. Tap an appointment to open its details. Upcoming appointment prep stays separate from the entry so future context does not get mixed into past journal notes.
Suggested questions
Tended analyses your recent journal data and suggests questions you might want to raise. It looks at new symptoms, severity trends, medication adherence, experiment results, flare day patterns, mood patterns, and Major Events marked for follow-up or discussion. Suggestions are tailored to the appointment’s specialty — a rheumatologist sees flare-focused questions, a psychiatrist sees mood-focused ones. Tap + to add any suggestion to your discussion notes.
Things to Discuss
Add questions and observations directly on the appointment detail screen. These are individual items you can tick off during the appointment. See the “Things to discuss” help topic for full details.
Reports
Generate a Quick Summary, Detailed Health Report, or Appointment Packet+ directly from the appointment. Appointment Packet+ is designed for a specific visit, with recent changes, questions, medicines, events, notes, and body-map context. Reports are automatically linked to the appointment. You can also attach previously generated reports.
After your appointment
Once an appointment is in the past, a “What Happened” section appears. Tap Edit to rate how it went (1–5) and record outcome notes — useful for tracking whether treatment changes helped.
Timeline reminder
When your next appointment is approaching, a reminder card appears on your journal timeline (and in the day-by-day view). It shows the date, provider, and any linked discussion notes. Tap it to go straight to the appointment detail. A small amber bell appears next to the time when a notification reminder is set.
