Energy level

From the app’s English Help & Guide · Reference release 1.0.27

Log your energy level each day on a 1–5 scale. Enable it in More › Tracking.

How to log it

Use the number that best matches your usable energy for the day, not what you think you should have managed. If your energy changes during the day, update the same journal entry rather than creating a new one unless you want a separate event.

Why it matters

Energy is often easier to log than a detailed symptom list on low-capacity days. Even a day rating and energy level can add useful context to your pacing, activity-cost, recovery, and pre-flare pattern summaries.

How it’s used

Your energy level feeds into the capacity indicator, correlations, historical pre-flare pattern matching, and the regular summary. It’s also shown on your timeline entries and in health reports. These are observations from your records, not predictions.

Energy correlations

With Tended+, the Energy insight card shows which factors correlate with higher or lower energy. This runs the same correlation analysis as symptoms but focused specifically on your energy levels.

Widgets and pacing

Energy appears in the Sleep & Energy home screen widget, Today’s Energy Apple Watch complication, energy pacing tools, reports, and the How I’m Doing reference card when enough data is available.
