Exporting your data

From the app’s English Help & Guide · Reference release 1.0.33

Export your data as CSV files for use in spreadsheets, sharing with your doctor, or moving to another app. Go to More › Data.

Journal data export

The original journal CSV keeps one row per timestamped entry and its supported fields. Its legacy rating column remains the original entry value; it is not an independent current date assessment. To preserve Day Ratings, connections, episodes and stable source identities together, use Export structured transfer from More > Data and review the package before sharing.

Major Events export

Major Events CSV includes title, type, dates, impact, care setting, related symptoms and medications, follow-up flags, recovery status, and notes. Photos are not included in CSV.

Adherence export

Export Adherence (CSV) creates a separate file with your medication adherence history — every dose response with the date, medication name, dose, dose slot number, status (taken/skipped/pending), response time, notes, and any reported side effects.

Round-trip compatible

Original journal and Major Events CSV files support importing structured rows. Plain CSV is not a complete connection or episode backup. Structured transfer uses separate tables for sources, date assessments, connections, episodes, memberships and retained history, with integrity checks and duplicate handling. Photo references are included without image files. Importing does not activate settings, reminders or sharing. Use Backup & Restore for complete recovery and photo files.

Review your export choices

Understand which export contains the records you need.

You can review these choices without changing them. Use the normal app controls only if you decide a change is useful.

Review your export choices: steps

  1. Choose the export type In Data, review Export Data (CSV), Export Major Events (CSV) and Export Adherence (CSV). These describe different records.
  2. Check access and content Read the relevant help and any purchase requirement before exporting. Exporting a CSV is different from preparing a Health Report PDF.
  3. Review the recipient If you create an export, inspect the file and choose where to save or share it. Cancel the share sheet if you are unsure.
  4. Finish your review Tap Done at the end of these steps, or open Guide details and tap Finish review. This finishes the guide; it does not confirm a setting change or transfer.
