App language

Tended follows the language selected for the app in system Settings. English and German (beta) are currently available.
After updating Tended
If German is the highest supported language in your device’s preferred language list and you have not chosen a separate language for Tended, iOS may switch Tended to German automatically. If Tended already has a per-app language set to English, it stays in English until you change it.
Changing the app language
Open More › Preferences › App language. Tended opens its system Settings page, where you can choose the preferred language for this app without changing the language of your whole device. Return to Tended afterwards; reopen the app if every screen has not refreshed yet.
Each device has its own choice
The app-language choice is made separately on each iPhone or iPad. Apple Watch, widgets, Shortcuts, notifications, Help, and generated reports use the relevant device and Tended language where that system surface supports localisation.
German is in beta
German language support is currently a beta. If any wording feels unclear — especially medical wording — check the English version for comparison and send feedback from More › Support.
