My Flare Plan

From the app’s English Help & Guide · Reference release 1.0.27

My Flare Plan is a personal reference card you write when you’re feeling well, so it’s ready when you need it during a flare.

What to include

Five sections help you cover the essentials: medications to take, comfort measures, things to avoid, people to reach out to, and reminders to yourself. Write as much or as little as you need — every section is optional.

Reading your plan

During a flare, open your plan from More › Sharing / Self-care, or from the Flare Mode screen. Text is displayed large and high-contrast so you can read it without straining. No editing, no buttons to press — just what you need.

What’s helped before

If you have enough journal data, Tended can surface relief methods, activities, triggers, foods, medications, and other factors that appeared more often on your better days or recovery days. This section updates automatically as you log.

Why write it now?

Brain fog, pain, and fatigue make it hard to think clearly during a flare. Writing your plan when you’re well means you don’t have to remember or decide anything when you’re struggling.
