Tended captures weather conditions automatically when you log an entry — temperature, humidity, pressure, cloud cover, and wind.
Enabling weather
Turn on weather in More › Preferences. Tended uses Apple’s WeatherKit service, which requires location permission to fetch conditions for your area. If you do not want weather attached to new entries, return to More › Preferences and turn it off.
How weather is used
The free weather insight shows how many entries contain weather and a 30-day timeline for temperature, humidity, or pressure. With Tended+, Tended compares those records with your flare and better days, checks conditions such as low pressure or high humidity, shows longer timelines, and looks for weather recorded before flare entries. These are associations in your records, not proof that weather caused a symptom change.
Privacy
Your location is used only to fetch weather data at the moment you log an entry. It is not stored, tracked, or sent anywhere beyond Apple’s WeatherKit request.
